Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit is available for physicians. A Certificate of Participation for Non-Physician Healthcare Professionals is available for physician assistants, advance practice nurses, nurses, physical therapists and other healthcare professionals. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and The George Washington University School of Nursing and School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. |

If you decide to register for one of our online CME programs/activities, we will collect personal information that you voluntarily share with us. GW SON keeps confidential any personal information that you provide to us. The personal information you provide is stored in a secure location and only authorized GW SON personnel managing the CME activities you are taking are able to access it. We do not share registrants' information with other institutions, except as may be required by law.
If a fee is charged, registrants can pay online and will be asked for credit card information. These transactions are encrypted before transmission over the Internet.
When you participate in a CME activity, you may be required to complete a knowledge test or other activities designed to measure your command of the education provided. In addition, you will be required to evaluate the CME activity, providing feedback about its educational value to you. GW SON uses the information to better understand learners’ needs and provide improved service and activities in the future.
